Una serata dove l’Italia incontra l’Oriente – Japas for everyone!
It’s all about the simplicity of life… and good taste… and passion!
On April 30, 2026, Hofgasse 4 once again became a gathering place for connoisseurs seeking something special. In collaboration with A.G. Brigante & Co, mizu-san by Daniel, and pasta master Manuel Tocci, an evening was created that brought together two worlds—Italy and Japan, tradition and innovation, emotion and precision.
Under the theme “Una serata dove l’Italia incontra l’Oriente,” we presented a flying dinner that went far beyond traditional concepts. Six courses, six emotions—served as a flowing menu, light, elegant, and full of surprises.
The Menu – Two Cultures, One Experience:
- Miso Soup with Aqunaria Branzino
- Tempura Oysters and Yuzu Sauce
- Gyoza with Mazzancolle, curry, and Sicilian citrus notes
- Tamagoyaki with wild salmon caviar
- Sardinian Gnocchetti in Scampi Broth
- Crostatina with Ricotta, Honey, and Hazelnuts
Each course was a dialogue between the two cuisines—sometimes delicate and understated, sometimes bold and intense. Italian soul met Japanese precision, accompanied by a fine selection of wines—from Franciacorta to Illivio by Livio Felluga to Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG.
David Sladek’s live music added an extra dimension, accompanying the evening with emotion and energy and creating an atmosphere that can’t be planned—it has to be experienced.
The strictly limited number of participants made this evening particularly intimate. The focus was on connection, interaction, and genuine enthusiasm.
